Our unique Puppy School is designed for puppies 6 months of age and younger. Utilizing the three main fundamentals of canine development, specifically designed with puppies and owners needs in mind, a three level program was created.

Puppy School is highly structured and focuses on developmental behavior, social skills, manners, and basic obedience. 

The Puppy Academy staff are dedicated to working with you to meet and exceed your goals and expectations for your puppy. Each level is typically 4 weeks, but because we are in this together, it is up to you to advance your puppy. Participation is key to moving your dog forward.

There are a total of 3 levels of training for puppies under 6 months of age and levels of advanced training once they graduate the program.

In the program, your puppy will be learning:

- behavior shaping to prevent the development of problem behaviors;

- basic obedience;

- manners and social skills;

- focus, attention, and impulse control

Throughout the program, we are continuously working together to help you achieve your goals. We want to know how things are going at home and we share what the puppies are learning regularly through report cards. 

Level 1: Level 1 teaches the puppy boundaries such as wait, body boundaries, and bite inhibition. We are also introducing the marker system and the language we use to communicate with the puppy. This is the beginning of basic obedience and impulse control.

Level 2: Level 2 teaches intermediate obedience. Starting to hold positions with duration, strengthening and learning more vocabulary, and consistency.

Level 3: Level 3 consists of adding distractions to all previously learned skills (i.e. movement, sounds, other environments). Expanding duration of impulse control.
